ext|circ: How CNN edited Blix’s transcript

After grabbing the text from the two transcripts, correcting for where the BBC inserted a whole bunch of whitespace, there it was. A count in Word says that there’s 866 words in one version that aren’t in the other. At all. And they’re, variously, about Iraqi moves towards compliance and partial refutation of the evidence presented by Powell to the UNSC.

This is nothing less than outrageous….

  1. the reason why i am writing this note is that,the world is not realising what america is trying to acchieve by fighting our innocents people accross the world!!! America is doing this to show that she has the power to throw away any president she wants! That should not be happening because the muslims are not the only enemies to america!!!
    I hate what america is doing and I hate how our united nation is allowing america doing what she likes to the islam!!!
    there are many nations who dont like america but things like this have never to them!
    this shows that the UN is involved in this terror act against islam! thank you but be careful!
