I basically started this new blog because a lot has been happening in my life, and my professional (and to a degree personal) focus has changed drastically from being mostly a technologist to thinking mostly about ways of bridging the digital divide.<\/p>\n

Many things, that I used to write about from a personal angle in my old blog at krag.org<\/a> are now becoming an integral part of my professional life. <\/p>\n

I’m somewhere in the convergence of technology and development work. I enjoy travelling, I get excited about new cultures and approaches to well-known problems, and at heart I’m a geek. Technology is a big part of my life. I belive technology will continue to cause fundamental changes to the way we live our lives, and I hope those changes are for the better.<\/p>\n

In a way I’m a blue- (and bleary-)eyed idealist with a desir to make a difference. And at the moment I’m living that dream. I hope this blog will end up being an interesting blend of technology, idelaism, political realism and just plain fun. I hope over time I will be joined here by a few like-minded friends and we can create something together.
