So i got my Palm Tungsten C last week after long deliberationson whether to get a Sharp Zaurus or the Palm. SO Far so good.
\nI think Palms great disadvantge wheb compared to a pocket pc or linux based handheld is that the OS is rather limited. There’s no flesystem, and no multitasking, meaning if there isn’t already a palm app out there that does what you want it to, you’re pretty much stumped unless you feel like coding your own. Nu scripting, perl hacking etc.<\/p>\n
On the other hand that’s also Palms great advantage. This palm is so simple to use for the basic functionality it’s a delight. And combine that with a massive developer base abd ikve pretty much found all the apps i’ve dreamed of fo my new palm.<\/p>\n
There’s an ssh client, a decent web browser, the blog tool that i’m posting this with, great IMAP email clients, a wardriving tool that shows me all wireless networks etc. Etc.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
